The first season covers the first 30 chapters of the book "Wave" – The book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in several episodes spin in the wrong direction as far as the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Should Be Drinking (2023). I really enjoyed Silo. Just my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. I had not read or heard of the books Silo was based on. The story is good and interesting. The series is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people left now live in a silo and these people have never left the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. They do know that leaving the silo is fatal. Some people choose to leave to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can look out the window whenever someone wants to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliet Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t leave without dying. The acting is good and the character development is good. However, the pacing can be a bit slow as there are some filler episodes. They could have definitely shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me too much as the series as a whole is very good. I can’t wait for season 2 with more suspense, mystery and answers to what’s happening outside the silo!
